Dr. Joseph Tricarico, Jr., Assistant Commissioner, New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services

Dr. Joseph Tricarico, Jr. is an Assistant Commissioner with the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services managing the Health Infrastructure Preparedness Bureau. He is responsible for and oversees the Office of Emergency Medical Services, Office of Public Health Infrastructure, and the state’s nine medical coordination centers.

Prior to joining New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, Dr. Tricarico maintained a private clinical practice. Dr. Tricarico received a BA degree in Public Health from Rutgers University, his D.M.D. degree from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and his law degree from Seton Hall University.
